We wish to fill the vacant position of Salesperson – Corporate Merchandise, on behalf of Generic Brands Limited, a leading supplier of high-quality branded items such as hats, T-shirts, stationery, and promotional giveaways to top brands like Supa Loaf, Basco Paints, and Muthokinju Paints. The position is based in Nairobi on a Fixed Term Contract Basis.
Eleven Degrees Consulting Limited is a leading shared service company for Mini Group of Companies, dedicated to providing innovative HR solutions to our clients.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Salesperson will be responsible for driving growth within the Corporate Merchandise segment by identifying potential clients, building strong relationships, and closing sales for customised branded merchandise.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition: Identify and approach potential corporate clients for branded merchandise opportunities.

Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with marketing, procurement, and brand teams in target organisations.

Sales Execution: Understand client branding needs and propose suitable product solutions (e.g., apparel, stationery, accessories, giveaways).

Presentations and Quotations: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, quotations, and proposals.

Coordination: Work with suppliers, designers, and production teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Sales Targets: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals and contribute to overall business growth.

Market Research: Identify new trends, product ideas, and competitive opportunities.

CRM Management: Maintain detailed records of client interactions and sales activities.

Promotion: Attend corporate events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote the company’s merchandise offerings.
Academic and Professional Qualifications and Experience Required:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably in promotional items, printing, branding, or FMCG sectors.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong understanding of corporate branding and marketing needs.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-driven, organised, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools.

Remuneration:

Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission.
