Butali Sugar Mills Ltd is a Mini Group–allied agro-industrial company based in Kakamega County, Kenya, playing a vital
role in the country’s sugar sector through sustainable production, outgrower support, and rural economic empowerment. Commissioned in 2011, the mill operates as a fully integrated facility with capabilities in sugarcane crushing, raw sugar production, molasses recovery, and bagasse-based power generation. It works with over 30,000 contracted farmers under its cane development program, providing equipment, training, and extension services to boost productivity across more than 7,000 acres of sugarcane.
