VACANT POSITION: GRADUATE TRAINEE – QUALITY ASSURANCE / QUALITY CONTROL

Position Summary
The Graduate Trainee – Quality Assurance / Quality Control will join our QA/QC team to ensure that all bakery products meet the highest quality and safety standards. This entry-level role is designed to provide hands-on training in food safety, quality systems, and compliance with industry regulations, while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Quality Control

Assist in monitoring and enforcing food safety and hygiene standards across production lines.

Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished baked goods.

Support the implementation and maintenance of HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000 standards.

Participate in internal audits, documenting findings and corrective actions.

Collaborate with production and R&D teams to ensure product consistency and compliance with quality specifications.

Maintain accurate QA/QC records and reports.
Food Safety & Compliance

Assist in ensuring adherence to all food safety regulations and company policies.

Monitor compliance with statutory quality requirements and customer specifications.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for quality systems and processes.
Reporting & Documentation

Prepare QA/QC reports and assist in data analysis.

Keep detailed logs of quality inspections and testing activities.

Provide support in preparing audit reports and quality performance updates.
Learning & Development

Participate in structured training sessions on bakery quality systems and modern production techniques.

Gain exposure to real-world QA/QC challenges and develop practical problem-solving skills.

Work closely with mentors to build expertise in food quality management and assurance.
Academic and Professional Qualifications and Experience Required
-
A recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science & Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or related fields.

Basic understanding of food safety, quality control, and HACCP principles (added advantage).

Strong interest in quality management and FMCG manufacturing.
