Mini Connect Launches: Celebrating People, Inspiring Progress

At Mini Group, we believe that our people are our greatest asset—and that true community impact begins with them. In line with this belief, we are proud to announce the launch of Mini Connect, a quarterly initiative that brings together celebration, collaboration, and innovation across our organisation.

What is Mini Connect?

Mini Connect is more than just an internal event—it’s a platform to:

  • 🎉 Celebrate our people by recognizing team members’ birth months together.

  • 💡 Collaborate through ideation by providing a forum where employees can share ideas, highlight what’s working well, and explore opportunities for innovation and improvement.

The program has been designed to strengthen community spirit, encourage open dialogue, and ensure every team member feels connected to the bigger picture of Mini Group’s journey.


First Edition: Launch in Nyanza

The very first Mini Connect event was held on 24th September 2025, with our colleagues in Nyanza hosting the launch. The event combined celebration and forward-thinking conversations, sparking fresh energy and engagement among the teams.

Participants celebrated birthdays, shared milestones, and most importantly, contributed innovative ideas through the Ideation Forum. The discussions focused on practical ways to enhance operations, foster collaboration, and unlock new opportunities for growth within Mini Group.


A Rotational Initiative

Given our vibrant and expansive staff community, Mini Connect will rotate across branches, allowing employees in different locations to benefit from this initiative. Members of the Senior Leadership Team will actively participate by joining teams at various branches, ensuring cross-level engagement and visibility.

The rotational model ensures that every region, beginning with Kenya, will experience Mini Connect while day-to-day operations continue seamlessly.
